The Interlibrary Loan department at Binghamton University Libraries does not fill requests for items identified as required textbooks that are unowned by the Libraries. In order to increase access to course materials, owned and unowned, ILL and Course Reserves collaborated to create new workflows in ILLiad and Ares that made use of both department's resources. Together, three workflows were created to increase access to three different categories of ownership; course materials owned and currently on reserve, course materials owned and not on reserve, and unowned course materials.
